About Us

We are two women who met in Fairfield, CT at a Mommy and Me Yoga class when our babies were 5 and 7 weeks old. We were both fairly new to the area and first time moms.  Navigation of both fronts was tough at times and it was great to have a friend to learn and compare stories with.

Living just a few blocks apart, we got into a routine of early morning runs with our two babes, which always ended up at our favorite coffee shop for caffeine and goodies. (Oh how we miss The Pantry!!) During these runs we compared kid triumphs and horror stories, shared recipes and traded crafting ideas. These runs got us through year one of parenting while holding onto our sanity. They provided friendship, laughs, advice, and always served as a great source of inspiration.

This past spring we both moved out west to California, Dalton to San Francisco and Kerry to Los Angeles.  Though we may share a coastline, there are now 394 miles between our BOB Jogging Strollers.  Since our cross-country moves we’ve also both welcomed kid #2 into the mix.

Juggling double diaper duty and battling the terrible twos has really hindered our motivation to be crafty.  With that in mind, we decided to replace our daily jogs with a blog.  We hope this will be a forum to share some about our lives, if only to inspire each other in order to add a little bit more color and a few more pretty things into our worlds.
