All Things Rikshaw

Aren't these fabrics just plain dreamy?!?!

Yesterday, I had the absolute pleasure of heading over to the Rikshaw Design office to take a look at some of their AMAZING designs first hand.  I've had my eye on a few of their pieces recently and was so excited to check them out in person.  The space was fantastic, and filled to the brim with beautifully crafted and printed designs.   Baby June thoroughly enjoyed her time amongst all of the Rikshaw ware as well.  She made herself at home on a beautiful and cozy printed quilt.

I've been wanting to add a Rikshaw kurta to my wardrobe for awhile now, but haven't been able to decide which one to get because I liked all of the patterns so much.  I was hoping that by going to the office, one of the shirts would stand out over the rest.  Unfortunately, they all whispered sweet nothings in my ear and asked me to bring them home with me....damn beautiful shirts!

Here are a few that attempted to woo me....

While I was at the office I also wanted to take a look at their kids clothing line.  My sister is getting married this fall and is thinking about using one of the below dresses for the flower girls. As the mother of two of these little flower ladies, I couldn't be happier with this idea.
These are dresses that could definitely be worn again.  Plus, I think that any of these color options would add a perfect pop of sunshine to a wedding party.

Now, here comes the sad part about my visit.  I took a bunch of awesome pictures to keep me inspired after I left.  Unfortunately, when I got home I realized that I had loaded my camera up with a bum memory card (who does that?!?!)  So sad....
So, alas, I can't share any of the pics I was hoping to from my visit.  You'll just have to imagine all of the beauty, and this self portrait (which by no means compares....) of me rocking my new Rikshaw shirt will have to suffice.
what do you think?? I'm pretty stoked about this purchase!!

Enjoy the day!

  2. Glad you approved. You're stuff is so great- whimsical and breezy. I'm just crushed my memory card wasn't working. That's never happened before. So sad :( oh, well. I hope the flower girl dresses work out! I will keep you posted.
